Something extremely disturbing happened to a close friend of mine, and I'm still a little shaken. This is going to be a difficult few weeks, but all I can really do is put faith in modern medicine and his/her friends and family.

Without going into further details, suffice to say I've learned a rather important lesson about one's lifestyle, and all I can say is I'm thankful I have the personality I do, which should help me avoid ever coming close to something similar.

So that this isn't a complete vague frustrating mess of an entry, COT SSC2 entry probably isn't going to happen (in part due to this). The other project I've mentioned is still under construction, though that also hasn't been worked on recently.
