My being eighteen has a two-fold effect on my attending a convention: one, travelling as an unaccompanied minor is more difficult than as an adult. Once eighteen, eveything gets a bit easier. Second: I don't want to travel cross-border just to attend a convention for one day, and if you want to register for more than just the public day at most conventions you need to be over eighteen. It's the full-meal deal or nothing for this Canadian!

You guys also had to watch me, Razzy, and Letagi. We would have gotten into all sorts of trouble otherwise, jumping in fountains and all that.

Yeah, it'd be great to see another new BZPer at the 'Con. Last year we only had one person show up during public hours so we staged our own meet-and-greet pretending to be other members. I met all sorts of people and posed as Black Six, (but then so did everyone else) Hapori Dume, Sisen, xccj. and the word filter. Thankfully we all knew each other or it would have been a mess.
