I'm not exactly a love specialist, since my PHD was confiscated by a travelling washing-up liqiud salesman, but you should definatly talk to her. If you don't, you'll end up wondering about it and stuff and eventually become so depressed you form an emo band filled with angst and hatred and write songs about bad people and stuff. Well, maybe not that drastic but I can say from personal experience that not talking to her won't do you much favors. The band split up over personal differences too.
