Extended Cut Dlc
Thoughts on having downloaded and played the ME3 Extended Cut DLC. In tags just in case.
- First time round I accidentally shot the stupid kid. I just wanted to see if I could!
- The addition of (for me) Tali and Garrus getting almost wiped out by Harbinger and the Normandy extracting them was a much needed addition. That said, seeing Tali bleeding out did tug at my heart rather savagely.
- In 'reality' I once again chose the Synthesis ending because it's what Joshua Shepard (I) would do. See, controlling the Repears was the Illusive Man's plan and he/I would refuse to make that choice. Destruction would mean no more EDI or Geth, again, something that my Shepard values. He would want to end the war, and so: synthesis.
- I was glad to see Miranda during Shepard's fall into the abyss rather than Liara. Since, y'know, I romanced Miranda.
- I liked the addition of circuitry to the leaves of the plant covering the Normandy. Cool touch.
- The Reapers help us rebuild! Heck yes I chose the right ending!
- The 'slideshow' also helped with the closure thing. And an unmasked Quarian!
- The Normandy takes off and the Relays are fine. Hooray!
- And now the epilogue with Buzz Aldrin has so much more impact.
So yeah. Massive props to Bioware.
