Hey, folks. I am just popping in really quick to see what you all think of my new Avatar. Well, what you think, folks? :P

 

Don't worried, folks. This isn't a permanent change. I will be going back to my Zexion avatar eventually. I just changed to this one because that expression on Aang's face was priceless, so I had to make an avatar of it to show you guys.

 

Oh, and for those wondering, this picture of Aang is from new Avatar: The Last Airbender graphic novel (The Search), which I have just finished reading today and I thought it was great. Hm...I actually really want to talk about it here, but obviously I don't want to spoil things for you folks.

 

I will say this though, if you want to learn about the past of Zuko's mother, then I definitely recommend you pick this book up because there are quite a few flashbacks to Ursa's past in this. You also get to see Azula again, who is completely off her rocker!

 

Hm...Speaking of Avatar, anyone know when the Legend of Korra is starting Book 2? I am itching to see now what they have planned for Book 2. I might have to marathon Avatar: The Last Airbender this weekend since man, I am in mood to watch the series again.

 

Alright, I think I kept you folks here long enough. Beside, I don't want to spent all my free time from work writing a blog entry, when I could be playing LEGO City: Undercover or Ni No Kuni. :P So yeah, that's enough rambling out of me. XD

I don't know about when Korra Book 2 is starting, but Book 1 is coming out on Blu Ray and DVD on July 16. I don't know which I'll get: Blu Ray (since my family finally has an HD TV, and it has commentaries for all the episodes) or DVD (since I don't think we have a Blu Ray player yet, I'll be able to play DVDs on my computer when I'm not home, and it'll be consistent with my Avatar: The Last Airbender box sets). Decisions, decisions.

@Lyichir: Yeah, I looked around for release date of Book 2 and found nothing, so I guess the network is waiting for a fall release instead of spring.

 

As for release of Book 1 on DVD & Blu Ray, I personally have no intended of getting that simply because I already have Book 1 on iTunes since I could never watch the show live. So while it would be nice to have it on DVD with extra features (I say DVD because I generally don't buy Blu Ray since I can't play that stuff on my computer. That and DVDs tend to be cheaper.), I am not going to waste money to get in that format.

 

But yeah, I think getting on DVD would be safe choice on your case since you are not sure if your family owns a Blu Ray player (The only one in my house is my PS3.).
