So, for awhile now something has been bugging me. I don't really agree with some of the PM perks. For starters, PMship isn't particularly cheap. it isn't terribly expensive either, and upon purchasing a six month subscription you are automatically signed up to buy it again when it runs out. which is quite... odd... it seems to me it would be better to pay $16 than $10 twice. but I really only bought it to see if it would be worth it to spend the $40 and just have it until the site no longer existed. But I figured since I've been here for over two years I might as well donate to the site. So, here we go.

First lets go with my favorite part, The poll. It's a nice idea in theory, pay a bit of money and make all the polls you please. as long as they're related to Lego or bzp. In a single forum. That doesn't add to your post count.... Not to mention the Voting booth is somewhat... inactive(to put it mildly) right now. So the people who buy PMship don't seem to be taking advantage of that very much. So it can't be the main reason people buy it. So why have it that way at all?

Next I'm going to talk about blogs. I think the logic driving this is actually quite well thought out. not everyone wants or needs a blog, let alone on BZP, but those who do can have one, and those who don't want it can keep using the site for free. This seems to keep down on the amount of spam.(Though I'm not there often.)

The file adding seems somewhat irreverent to me and the multi-person pms will only benifit a handful of people. But I'm not a fan of the second one really. and the stuff that goes beside your post is a bit nice, showing that you are "special".

But I think it might do some good to add some more stuff to make it more attractive to the average user. I may open a ticket about this, but I can't think of many ideas. If you have any feel free to leave it here and I'll look into it.
