Toa Stone
Game idea for G&T, which needs something fresh. Very basic right now, came up with it in sleep. Sort of inspired by Mafia and Technic Coliseum, but not really like them - not round-based, probably real-time instead.
No idea on the amount of players yet, but it's got a few designated things, split into three rounds:
Round One: Survival:
- One player is Makuta. Their goal is to kill all the Matoran.
- Another player is a Toa. Their goal is to protect the Matoran.
- Everyone else is Matoran.
Round Two: Preparation:
- The Toa chooses six players to become Toa through Toa Stones, while they became a Turaga after all are used.
- The Makuta chooses three players to become Shadow Matoran - this is unknown to everyone but the Makuta and themselves.
- Makuta's goal is the same, the Matoran's goal is to survive, and the Toa's goal is to protect the Matoran and try and kill the Makuta
- All Shadow Matoran are Shadow Matoran from the start, but the Toa has to give the Toa Stones to the chosen Matoran - it's not guaranteed they will be Toa, as the Shadow Matoran also seek the Toa Stones, not to mention the Matoran chosen to be Toa could be killed by Makuta. Let alone the jealousy of other Matoran...
Round Three: Final Round:
- Almost the same as the first round, but with the results of the second round and...
- Makuta can unleash three Rahkshi.
- The Turaga can revive two fallen Matoran.
- Six Matoran, if agreeing to it, can now form a Matoran Nui.
- If there are any (non-Shadow) Matoran left alive, Makuta loses. If there are none, Makuta wins.
Needs some refinement, maybe that's an understatement.
(Might think about reviving the old classic that is the Caption Contest, as well.)
