For what, I'm not exactly sure. Perhaps it's for the complete lack of anything random in the previous entry. Perhaps it's for the deplorable lack of songs about aquatic invertebrates by Elton John. Perhaps it's for the slightly-less-deplorable lack of previous squid-related entries. Or perhaps it's compensation for all of the above. Anywhoo, here's a little ditty I composed in transit to class a few days ago:

It's got starfishes

Crinoids 'n' more of the same

It's a backbone-free taxonomy
