I'm not going to judge a film until I start seeing the trailers. Although it is a bit weird to at least start a Venom movie without Spider-Man.

People say that Sony sucks at everything, but they can be prissy all they want. I personally think that Sony has done a pretty good job with their properties

No but really, I liked the first two Spider-Man films.  I seem to recall normal people reacting pretty positively to the first Andrew Garfield film.  It's basically only once they try to cram their films with too many characters that they seem to bomb.  Blade Runner 2049 was also pretty stinking awesome.

But then again, I just realized that they made The Emoji Movie...and Pixels.  I guess it comes down to the director.  I haven't seen anything by Ruben Fleischer, so I can't really judge.
