I've been reading through the comments section of this video, and it was very touching to see the number of Singaporeans who said how they will never forget where they were and what they were doing when this race showed up on television, and then they got to hear their national anthem at the Olympics for the first time. Factories would literally put their workers on pause in order to have everyone gather around and watch this event. I'm very happy for Singapore, and they could not have won their first Olympic gold in a more brilliant fashion.
