Teriyaki *squee*
I made Teriyaki sauce tonight. I succeeded in the "yaki" aspect, but the "teri" was unsuccessful. The salmon was marinated in the sauce via an extremely lackluster method. It got good reviews from the guests.
Recipe:
7 tbsp sake
7 tbsp mirin
7 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
Mix in a saucepan and put over medium heat until it boils and the sugar dissolves. Use immediately or cool and bottle.
