That was hard to make :P I'm still wondering how I'll do the windsheild... I forget if blinn allows transparency.

 

Yeah that's another thing. Where to the names for those kinds of rendering surfaces come from? "Anisotropic." "Blinn." "Lambert." "Phong." What?

 

But whatever. 3D is fun... =D

 

There are bottom details but they're positioned horribly... based on what I have, there's like no room for the driver XD. I'll figure it out.

 

I already copied and flipped the hood, but for the rest of it I'm finishing the left side first, so I can make sure it's as symmetrical as possible.

 

Maya flipping and moving large groups is a bit weird though... I gotta get that one right...

 

I also modelled our problem space for class, as something actually productive, but who cares about that? :P

Wow,

 

Maya. I've heard of that program. It's used in films and such I've seen (like The Lord of the Rings) .

 

So you're going to try Blender? I downloaded it earlier this year and... it's surprisinglly capable. It's hard to believe that Blender is free seeing as it's able to do some pretty advanced animation.

Nice car. I did a car model too once (just the extereior). Not the most cleanly done model ,but I was able to give it a license plate with my name on it :P . Still trying to animate it though... -_-

 

Well, I look forward to seeing what else you come up with.

And I dunno how to get text onto Maya yet... :P I'd like to give it a liscence plate.

 

I'm not even considering animation yet...
