Heh. Whaddya think: best set this year?

HAHAHAHAHA! That's awesome! You've obviously got a great sense of humor. I practially hurt myself laughing so hard. Maxilos and Spinax IS definitely the best set this year.

Well, I don't have Hydraxon or Gadunka, but out of those I have, I'd definitely say yes.

I've got Hydraxon, and M&S is way better, although Hydraxon has some pretty useful parts.

Haven't gotten Gadunka yet, though I'm probably gonna get a few more Mahri before I buy him.

Eh, I'm avoiding the Mahri; the only one I like is Hahli, but I don't want to buy her because I'm trying to proved that LEGO needs to do better (I have NEVER disliked canister sets, or any set really, but I'm not a fan of the Mahri whatsoever).

Nathan -- Heh, I'll probably do even more with other sets. I agree, M&S is a quality set.

Those are great. Maxilos's set really does assume Makuta's character very well. I love the "*urk*" and "Will you get off me!" pictures... Absolutely hilarious.

Dang it, you may have just convinced me to get Maxilos and Spinax. I've been resisting the desire for months now...

Oh yes, Maxilos just screams "Makuta". It was actually pretty funny, I was looking for sets I could make amusing pictures with, and I grabbed Defilak, then saw good ol' Matoran Nuparu and thought "Oh man, him with Maxilos would be PERFECT."

He's definitely worth the money. The only large holes I found were on his thighs, between the Metru foot and the actual leg. They're only visible when looking directly at them, so otherwise he's not quite as "holey" as some of those preliminary pictures made him. Seriously, HIGHLY recommend this set -- it's one of the coolest ones out there (which is saying a lot, since I was in love with Vezon & Fenrakk).

I wouldn't say Maxilos is better. Hydraxon, in my opinion, is the better of the two. But I don't have Maxilos yet, so eh. Anyways, nice pics. I like the "Takadox, help me!!" one the best. Or the "I am your father" one.
