Well, both F.E.A.R. and F.E.A.R. Extraction Point have been completed. For those that want to know what happened, but won't buy the game, here's some spoilers:

Kay, so I find Harlan Wade after tracking his daughter Alice Wade to some abandoned facility while she was a captive of Paxton Fettel. When I get there, Harlan beat me to shooting that fat mess Norton Mapes. He told me that Harlan went into the Vault and sealed it behind him; if I didn't get in there fast, either he or Fettel would release Alma's corpse. Not entirely sure why, but a lot of people told me that's a bad thing. So after a few gunfights, I unlocked the Vault and went in. First thing I find is this gigantic metal sphere that contains Alma's body. Along the way I kill Fettel, although not fast enough to save Alice. Then I find that Alma was part of an experiment while she was eight (smaller one in a red dress), then put into a coma till she was fifteen (taller naked one), at which point she chemically conceived both the character I play and Fettel, so we're brothers and Alma's our mother. She could still telepathically reach out to Fettel while in her coma, so they pulled the plug on the project (called Project Origin) and she died six days later. Then I find Harlan, but he releases the body before I can get to him. Fifteen-year-old Alma comes out and kills him. So I kill the reactor and nuke the place. I manage to get out in time to get saved by my buddies. Now we're in a chopper about two miles in the sky observing the damage. There's a thump, the chopper jumps, and Alma climbs up on somehow. End F.E.A.R.

Extraction Point picks up at the crash site. Special Forces soldier Holiday and F.E.A.R. forensic analyzer Jin are both alive. We get separated. Paxton is somehow revived, and thus so are the Replicas. Not cool. Anyway, long story short, both Holiday and Jin die in very disturbing ways. Eventually I figure out that for some unknown reason, the younger Alma is helping me while the older one is trying to kill me. Weird, but it happens. Whenever I see the smaller one she's either unlocking doors or killing an immense amount of Replicas for me. The other one scares me and sends demons at me. Anyway, I get a vision at the end and see the two Almas converge. Then I go up to my new chopper for evacuation when it explodes mysteriously. I see the entire city on fire while Fettel tells me a war is coming and everyone will die.

Thus I anxiously await the second expansion to F.E.A.R. coming out October 28: F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate. I wanna know why both Alma and Fettel are alive (well, at least Fettel -- Alma was techincally dead long before I met her).

Oh yeah, and Alma was Harlan's other daughter and responsible for everything that happened to her. Yeah...
