The Score

I got the Transformers' Score yesterday! (As in the background music. I don't even know why they call the other thing a soundtrack, to me soundtracks have always been the background music.)

Anyway, it's awesome! If I could choose one word to describe it, I'd say it's "powerful."

That being said, there's your one word, and goodnight.

Quote of the Day: Anthrophobia - Fear of flowers.

Just kidding.

The Score really is amazing. There's so much to it that really brings back good memories of the movie, as well as themes for each character that aren't necessarily in the movie. I especially like the music when the Autobots land on earth. It's one piece of music I remember from the movie, because the scene is destructive and powerful yet the music is peaceful and beautiful. It really brings the movie to life in my head.

Anyway, if you liked the movie, I would totally recommend the soundtrack.

Actually, I thought the movie sucked.

I'll list some reasons in my blog in the near future.

Don't reject me!

BtB

Fine!

*looks forward to your blog*

I got it a few weeks ago. It's some of the best MOCing inspiration I've found. The "Decepticons" track is especially awesome.

Bunda, I would reject you, but I'm too lazy to go copy the URL for the banner. :P

I love movie scores. LotRs, anybody? The Bridge of KKhazad Dum is one of my favorite sound files to play, some of the most emotionally intesne music I have, and there's no lyrics.

I have yet to see the Transformers movie yet... maybe I'll talk my parents into renting it over Thanksgiving break. So not only is the plot pretty good, but the music is too... so much to look forward to.

Bum Buuuuuum bum ba ba bum....

I like the soundtrack from the Broadway production of The Lion King. Shadowland is the sort of song that will send chills down your spine every time you hear that (though that may just be a byproduct of nostalgia; I do not know). Though I've scarcely listened to an album not by Mike Oldfield in a year... think I ought to break that trend?

Other very win soundtracks include the one to the movie of A Series of Unfortunate Events (though personally I prefer The Tragic Treasury much of the time) and the soundtrack to HHGG.

With all due respect,

The plot was what was weak, xccj.

My favorite soundtrack is Halo.

The action and effect were awesome! And I liked the plot, though it's not the Original 1984 Transformers....great movie still!

I find the ASoUE soundtrack a little dull, or at least slow. My favorites are the train scene and the end credits, but not much else. I guess I should just plop it in sometime and not touch the dial....

HHGG?

I forgot to comment on this.

It's probably nostalgia. I get chills down my spine too listening to some soundtracks.

A special program that lets you take the music straight off the DVD? (I think someone did that with the MoL movie, but I wasn't able to download their files.... :( )
