Ichthys Posted October 30, 2007 Um, you spelled 'or' wrong. It says 'of'. Now, I'm not sure, but was that the riddle? Quote Link to comment

Ngakunui Posted October 30, 2007 Basically, your question is asking something that cannot be answered with a simple "yes or no" answer; as every "positive or negative" one will contradict itself; if it were a lie, and you were admitting to it, then answering "true" would be contradictory, if it were a lie, then answering "false" would mean that the statement of it being a lie would be true, however that is a contradiction, as lies are of course cannot be correct Now, I know you can make the argument "If this is a lie, then doesn't that mean that the answer 'False' is correct? All lies are false...". No, because you are stating that you are lying, which is true, though you are stating it is a lie at the same time, so I can't say false. Basically, if I'm allowed to go outside the annoyingly mainstream "You must either be on the left or right" type of thinking, and thus not give you a "valid" answer(Though that's exactly what it is, depending on perspective), the answer would be "Gibberish". Seriously, both the "true" and "false" answers are pointless as they are both incorrect, as they are all contradictions. The answer to the question is that it is Gibberish. I can't give you a true or false answer. -Gakurak Quote Link to comment

Cap'n Tek Posted October 31, 2007 @ Cap'n G: Eh, 'twas just a typo--it's fixed now =P @ Lehatu: You sure? @ Gakurak: Um. You could have said that a whole lot easier... "If it's true then in essence it becomes false... and Vice Versa" (Yeah, I've thought this all through... I'm just giving the chance to others =P) @ MB: Um.. Yeah =P @ Lhii: The statement itself. =P Quote Link to comment
