FESTIVUSISCOMINGGETREADY.

Well, alright, I know most of y'all are confused and whatnot, so let me explain: Festivus is the world's most wonderful holiday. It was invented by a famous philosopher known as Frank Costanza. Basically he was tired of all the commercialization of Christmas and decided to make the wonderful holiday we all know and love known as Festivus: The Holiday For The Rest Of Us!.

Yes, I know that's Kramer in the above picture! Stop bugging me about it!

Q:Umm.... Is this some sort of cult holiday, or something? O_o

A: No, It's Festivus. Not a cult holiday. No; It's Festivus, Festivus Wonderful, FEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSTTTTTTTIIIIIIIIVVVVVVUUUUUUSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!

-][_1: The Festivus Pole_][-

Some random person sets up a pole in the middle of the LivingRoom. And it just stands there majestically. You must NEVER under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES make it ornate in ANY WAY! WHY?! Because tinsel is distracting, THAT'S why!

-][_2: Festivus Dinner. DINNER!!!_][-

There is a dinner for the consumption of mass quantities. DINNER.

-][_3: Airing Of Grievances_][-

One of my favorite parts of the holiday. Basically, you lash out at everyone at dinner and tell them how they've been IMBECILES and DOOFUSES in the last year. Fun stuff...

-][_4: The Feats Of Strength_][-

Immediately following the Airing of Grievances, the master of the household challenges a random person visiting him(or her, or whatever) to a wrestling match. Festivus is NEVER complete until the head of the household is pinned to the ground.(I.E. OWN'd)

-][_5: Festivus Miracles!!!_][-

While not officially part of the holiday, it's not uncommon for the happenings know as "Festivus Miracles" to happen. Basically, a Festivus Miracle Is a miracle that happens on Festivus, which is why it is called a Festivus Miracle.

Q: Wait... why does Festivus seem familiar?

A: It became widely known after an episode of Seinfeld known as The Strike was aired. FESTIVUS!
