Well, it's pretty pointless to make an entry right now, but I thought I would, because I realized all my blog entries lately relate to music, math, or some aspect of Bionicle. The first two because these are the sorts of things I think about every day (not all day though, thankfully) and the latter because it's a Bionicle board, though a really really dead one right now. So this entry, is spicing that up. Though I don't think it will fix the problem that the entries are almost forced to be long.

Next year, I will be in high school.

Among the changes (most of the others very minor), will be my moving into the high school cross-country and track teams. As much as I hate to admit it, this leaves me running without some of my closest competition for one or two years. I have to set all my own goals, not just to beat person X. But this is still just something minor. The largest change that will occur next year is the leaving of our current Seniors. They are both excellent runners (one holding all of the school's distance records) and will be missed. Sadly, it also leaves the high school team with two are three people all in grades 9 and 10, because of two other teammates' moving.

So yeah, I'm not expecting this next season to be amazingly awesome, but there is hope in one of the older runners, who has a good possibility that he can catch up to where our seniors were this season.

I have this sort of strange feeling that can't really be named. Sort of thinking it will be cool to move into the high school group (longer distance means I will probably do better; I'm not fast). But then, these two seniors will be gone and it wouldn't feel like cross-country without them. We would also have to do our best to move up into their shoes, which will be extremely hard to fill (and I don't expect to next season). And recruiting. We must recruit.
