Bloggie Month Follow-up

As all of you who have been paying attention know, I took last month off of writing the Blog of the Week (you know, that thing on the front page that seems to generate very little feedback). The time off actually started the week before Thanksgiving, but that was more in the way of timing than pre-planning it. Anyway, for the month of December, I decided it would be nice to allow the Blog Assistants to pick and write about their pick for each week. It really started as a half-hearted comment, but it spawned into a rather intriguing idea.

What this did was allow me to take some time off from writing week after week (something that can take its toll on the brain); it also allowed for a variety of writing styles by each of the BAs. Now I didn't fully take this time off and have nothing to do with the event, but for the most part, it was the Blog Assistants who did the work (for which I am grateful). From what I hear, they apparently enjoyed doing this event as well, which was something else I hoped would happen.

Now for anyone wondering about the number of BAs versus the number of weeks in December, there were five before the month started, and Valenti ended up filling in for Shine. So in case you were out for the month or just weren't paying attention, here's a recap of who chose whose blog and the corresponding date:

Dec 2- Darnzerf (Argetlam)

Dec 9- Nukora (Brave_Dragon)

Dec 16- Kahu Rider 13 (Lady Ranna ~ Spirit Keeper)

Dec 23- Kohaku (EmperorWhenua)

Dec 30- Valenti (Phyoohrii)
