Tonight was the most fun I've had in months, maybe even since BrickCon. I'll post Mondayish with pictures and more about the party, but I need to go to bed, like, now. I want to be in good form for when I tell my parents that I *gasp!* actually asked some girls to dance rather than wallflowering my way around the room. I've actually done that before, but they don't believe me. I've got to lose this meek and mild-mannered alter-ego of mine...

Dang. This makes you one step ahead of me. Better find a way to go to more parties... maybe I should start crashing them start acting more normal, average human normal, not me -normal... Dang. Suggestions? :P

Lucky you.

My parents make it awkward for me if girls are mentioned. Which sucks for me in the end. I don't even tell them much about my friends that are girls.

This is an interesting entry....

So, cousin, you've asked a girl to dance. Heh, I personally think that 16 is too young to date, but dancing is okay, I guess.

Aiieeee! I almost let this one slip through my fingers.

Dalek, I recommend hair plugs. That, or getting to know more people in whatever local subcommunity (Christian homeschoolers, in my case) you're most affiliated with.

CzaR, unfortunately you'll have to wait, see my latest entry.

CF, believe me, my parents are the same sometimes. My mom sometimes freaks out when I'm left alone with a girl for any amount of time. Like, one time I was having a great (by which I mean intellectually deep, as opposed to everyday banter/chatter/etc.) conversation with one of my girl friends in my bedroom, and when my mom found out about it she pretty much flipped out. I think she's eased off a bit recently, though...

Indeed, cousin, several girls, actually. I think 16 is too young to date too, but this was much more about being sociable/acquiring clews than implying romantic interest in anybody.
