I also do not like using stickers, I still have a lot of sticker sheets from sets. I tend to line up parts that I find useful usually smaller technic beams, small plus rods and other hard to find parts. If not I end up digging for several minutes.

I've been aligning those and the 2 and 3-L friction pins for the last two years or so.

Though I've slacked off on it a bit recently.

I filled up numerous kraata canisters with little technic pieces, such as the blue friction pins, other rods and axles, connectors and gears, and pretty much anything small enough to fit inside one of those canisters. It makes it really useful when I'm looking for a 2 long rod.

I used stickers when I was younger, but when they started peeling off my bricks, I got annoyed and stopped. So you're not the only one with odd mocist traits.

Actually, I tend to separate the armor, masks, and tools from the "body bits", arms, legs, joints, sockets, etc. Sometimes, though, I sort them by color instead.

Friction pins, heck. Sometimes I try to get the tiny LEGO logos on my studs all facing the same way.

And yeah, me no likey stickers.
