In my opinion, it's not to do with pressure so much as it is availability. I certainly don't blame Roa or anybody for the contest being shut down, I know life can be insanely busy at times, but nonetheless, if a new BBC FA is promoted or transferred, I hope it'll be someone who can be guaranteed to be on more regularly than the current staff have been of late.

I think it was probably a good idea to cancel the contest. I think a new FA or FL is definitely a good idea. I'd say ToM Dracone is a good candidate. He's already a good staff member, and he spends time in BBC.

This was a major letdown. Im not sure what else to say about it, everything seemed to be going so well. For me, the BBC contests are the peak of my interest in BZP, to see a great themed one like this cancelled just irks me and comes across as un-professional.

I cannot really blame Roa, as I stated earlier she is quite a busy person, however that should have been considered before the contest was announced. I assume the contest was her idea, as none of the other forum assistants had a clue to the rules. Hopefully we have all learned a lesson from this and it never, ever happens again.

I think it would be a good idea if the contest was rehosted on someone's blog. That way, the people who have worked hard on their entries wouldn't feel like they had wasted their time.
