Phantoka Reviews: Kirop

Monday, I arrived at my doorstep to find a rather large box waiting there for me. I pretended not to know what it is, but it was obvious. Because I totally ordered it a week ago. The box contained four sets: Lewa, Kopaka, Antroz, and Kirop. (I also knew this) We shall start with the latter, because he is the first one I built.

KIROP:

The box containing Kirop is a huge leap forward from the matoran of previous years. It is made of 2 plastic end-caps with a [thick] cardboard wall. These endcaps are bound with a plastic security thing. How you get it off is a matter of personal style. I used a lighter.

Kirop, for all I care, is about 8 pieces. You've got your feet, limbs, body, and head. AND HE IS MASSIVE. Check out this comparison shot. See what I mean? They must play a lot of baseball in karda nui, 'cuz these matoran are JUICED! He has 2-toed feet with sockets built in, the same chunky pieces for his arms and legs, the new matoran head in orange, a cool mask, and stubby wings. OH GOD THE WINGS! I will attempt to explain this as tastefully as possible. I have read somewhere that matoran do not produce "solid waste". This may not be the case with Kirop. Apparently, he has become so annoyed at having to "relieve himself" that he WENT AND STUCK SOME WINGS UP HIS REAR. THIS IS NOT GOOD. In addition to severe constipation, Kirop also suffers from "OH NO I HAS WINGS IN MY CABOOSE" syndrome. This lowers his asthetic appeal, but can be fixed with some minor modifications. Unfortunately, this procedure may cause "Axle-in-my-brain" disease.

KIROP: 4/5
