The Good Night Show

Sometimes we stay up late (12:00 midnight) to watch this dumb kiddie show called The Good Night Show. It has various TV shows plugged in to it like these:

Dragon Tales

Thomas the Tank Engine

Kipper

The Berenstein Bears

Angelina Ballerina

Sagwa

Make Way For Noddy

Jakers!: The Adventures of Piggley Winks

And later:

Barney

Sesame Street

Boohba (I'm not entirely sure how it is spelled, but for a kid's show, this is really creepy.)

There are four characters on the channel (not counting the TV shows). Hush, a fish, Lucy, a big, fake, firefly and Star, a star (he looks like a potato). And the host, Nina, a Spanish speaking woman. Near the end of the program, Star brushes his teeth and washes his face (not really, it just shows some kids while he sings (Eww!!!)). I love it and hate it at the same time.

I also like making fun of many other kiddie shows. Like Dora, Diego, Blue's Clues, and the list goes on.

I think I just found a reason to stay up that late! :P

I wonder why they put them on at 12:00 in the night, when a lot of kids that those are aimed at are in bed.

I believe the purpose is to help kids (and parents, I suppose) get to sleep when they're up till midnight and can't get to sleep. Actually, the Good Night Show starts at 9:00, I believe, and there are three episodes a night, each three hours long. At 3:00, they have an unbearable amount of Barney (I've never been able to bring myself to watch long enough to find out just how many episodes it is), and by then or soon afterwards I think they start the "Let's Go Show", the morning equivalent of the Good Night Show.

Jakers is easily the best show on the entire Sprout channel. How can you beat winking Irish pigs? :P

Yeah, Jakers is the most action-packed. I think it starts at six o' clock (EST) and it just repeats until Barney. The "Let's Go Show" is, you're right, an equivalent of "The Good Night Show" because they still show the episodes, just not the complete episodes (I have no idea why). I never seemed to like it.
