I hate those B.C. things, plus they arn't that great.

Depends on what you want, really: performance or looks. The Stratocaster, in my experience, is better with performance and sound quality but the Beast just plain looks cooler.

I dunno guitar, but I can give you some

advice.

One: Don't pick what's cool. Pick what

lasts, and pick what sounds good. I know,

this is obvious, but it's still worth a say.

Two: Be absolutely sure you're into it.

Yes, we all know it's cool to have a guitar

and to be able to say you can play, but if

you aren't sure it's your passion, then maybe

you should wait. Just a suggestion.

Three: Don't rule out second hand stuff. Most

of the time, it's just as good, but I can see

why you'd want a new one from, say,

Sam Ash or something. This is optional,

but again, it's a suggestion.

Four: You should've played piano.

Kidding with that last one.

I've actually played them side by side, my dad owns both, Fender has always been a good brand, And starts just look cooler, then that "beast", the beats is just plain ugly.
