There Is Still Hope

The Fallen Amph

There is still hope for me in this girl fiasco. Ya see, on Friday, she only knew about me for at least 20 minutes. On a normal school day, we pass eachother at least 3 times a day. Good oppurtunities to say "Hi" :) (or unless somone can suggest something else). Good chances to see her reaction when I see her. Also, on Tuesday, we have a field trip to a Bowling Alley and Fun Center ( ). More oppurtunities.

And, I don't have to go through the quest to find out stuff about her. My friend that I've known half my life, somehow knew her from a while back. So he can tell me stuff and I can spare embaressment.

Also, she doesn't "hate" me (or so I think?)!

Oh, well. He kinda looks like a nerd, but... I'll get to know him soon.

Tell her, you grew up with it, and its one of those things that you can't throw away (At least i hope you wouldn't), and at least try to avoid it if you don't want to bother with it.

Do what I did (And trust me, it worked) to become the most popular kid in school.

Don't make a fool of yourself and hide that fact. Don't mention it until maybe you start having a relationship, because obvisiously she doesn't want a nerd.

I'd suggest that you find what interests you actually share, by, I don't know, if you have a friend who is her friend or something, I don't know, and then, right when the time is right, not when you run into each other or something, but when you get a chance to talk to her and know her and she knows you, ask her if she likes any of the interests you share, like, playing "dummy" and pretending you don't already know :D

I'm not sure if that would work, or...

Yes, but what if we get into conversation and she asks we what my interests are? I won't lie.

That's good. :) Lying isn't a way to get a girlfriend. What I'd do is just talk about your interests in a non-nerdy way. For example: You like stop-motion, so just say: 'I like to make movies.' Or something along the lines of that. Don't try and make it sound like you're a fanatic. ;)

KTB, the good news is that I do have a friend that's her friend. He's been my friend since I was six. Tuesday (or sooner) I'm going to ask what she likes. :)

Off Topic: If anybody has an idea to listen to what she says in the hallway, it won't. It's so loud and congested, I've never even heard her voice...
