So I'm only going to be paying for one antivirus program, and I gotta make sure it gets rid of the virus, and that it's not actually going to be prevented from working by the virus (which happened to Spysweeper and Search&Destroy)... so the question is, which one?

From a quick Google, Bitdefender and Kapersky look good... I'm downloading AVG right now, seeing as it's free... downloaded Spydoctor's free trial and ran it, it picked up a lot of stuff, but I dunno...

Anyone out there with experience in the area?
