cags//cunninghat/2x2b Posted April 8, 2008 Why...? Why can't place names be just that, and nothing else? ~D Quote Link to comment
Wrinkledlion X Posted April 8, 2008 Because that way it costs lots of money to make new character-names. Besides, your screen-name is "Ihu." Quote Link to comment

Chols Posted April 8, 2008 I'm glad Greg picked that name. It doesn't bother me at all. Quote Link to comment
cags//cunninghat/2x2b Posted April 8, 2008 Your screen-name of the mountain? Whoops, worded it wrong. My screenname refers to the mountain. ~D Quote Link to comment
Wrinkledlion X Posted April 8, 2008 Okay then. No, I associate the term "Ihu" with the mountain. Quote Link to comment

Raging Land Squid Posted April 8, 2008 So, what's "Naho"? EDIT: Oh yeah... Nevermind... Quote Link to comment
Takua the Wanderer Posted April 8, 2008 When in doubt, check BS01. You already know about Toa Naho, right? Quote Link to comment
Munkiman Posted April 9, 2008 A lot of things in our world are named after people. Why not in Bionicle? I'm fine with it because we get to learn the name of another Lhikan team member. Quote Link to comment
bonesiii Posted April 9, 2008 Why...? Why can't place names be just that, and nothing else? ~D Has that ever been done, anywhere? I can't think of any examples... Pretty much everything is named after somebody or something else, innit? It wouldn't make sense otherwise, and it would lessen the meaning of the name. Instead of "Mountain named to honor a good friend who is no longer with us," it would be "random jumble of letters for this place cuz I couldn't think of anything else." Quote Link to comment
Chols Posted April 10, 2008 I can't wait to meet Hura-Mafa. Oh gosh, he's so right. EDIT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:List...ed_after_people. So yeah, listen to bones. Quote Link to comment
