On a four-wheeler yesterday at a friends house. I've been on faster four-wheelers, but this was while I was going uphill. I had more fun than I've had in a long time. This friend of mine lives on a farm with land spanning about 4 miles by 8 miles. Lots and lots of room to move around on. When we finished, we went inside and played Halo 3. ^_^ If all goes according to plan, we'll be doing the same thing tomorrow as well.

Lol, to both of your posts.

It frightened me a little too, but after a while, you learn what you're doing and it becomes fun. My friend, however, was on a Motorcycle (500 cc), and that would have been even more terrifying to me.

Well, if you're on private property, you don't need a license or anything like that to drive.

Big city huh? Which one? I live in a town of 850 people, and my friend lives about 6 miles to the west.

it has it's good times, lots of people, girls, etc. But, it can get annoying sometimes. I mean, there was like 5 shootings down the block in a month! :(

I've been to the ocean once, and that was when we went to Orlando in May of 2005. I was at Kennedy Space Center when I saw it, but I was still about 5 miles from the coastline.

Yeah, we get the occasional snow. This winter (like the past 3 or 4) has been pretty mild, so there hasn't been much moisture. Half of the state is under a burn ban, and most of our lakes are much lower than average.

Yeah, you get used to it though. The western half of ND is incredibly dry, and the eastern half is incredibly wet. There's drought and floods happening just 200 miles apart. It's not quite as cold here as some people believe though. It's usually between 0 and 40 degrees throughout the winter, and between 70 and 100 in the summer. In August, however, we can have two or three weeks where the daytime high is 105 to 110 degrees each day. North Dakota also has more sunny days than any other state in the Union.

I live about 3 hours from the geographical center of North America. The farthest from the ocean as you can get.

Argy

And I live near the aquatic center of North America. The continental divide, that is.
