As mentioned a few times previously, outside of Bionicle, I also make train MOCs. A while ago, I exhibited at a model train show, as I do two or three times a year.

I pretty much change the whole lot every year. This year, it was all based on the work of cartoonist Rowland Emett, who was famous a long time ago for his fantastically weird designs. Basically, all this trains this year were designed to be impossibly silly.

It was fun. Next year...I might go back to normal trains. The more observant of you will notice that the scale I used this year was Miniland scale, which required so much work it was ridiculous, but it was also a lot more fun building all the little (large?) details. Next year I'll probably do Minifig scale again, which will mean starting from scratch. But that's the fun of it all.
