Philosophical Ramblings
I kept having all these thoughts come to mind recently. Found it a good idea to post them for y'all to read.
-------
A fool takes a virtue, and focuses on it alone; he does not take others into context- he thinks of survival without purpose, observation without discernment, caring without love. But a wise man sees; no good principle can work without the other.
But something out place causes havoc; in the sky, the sun brings light- but if it crashed into the Earth, it would destroy it. If a man kills someone attacking him, it is defense, but if he kills someone who leaves him alone, it is murder. Everything has it's places, it's times, it's purposes- If it is where it does not belong, it does not fulfill it's destiny.
The wise love everyone, even their enemies; it rids the rids the mind of grief. But the evil hate everyone opposed to them; they cloud their minds with anxiety.
A puzzle needs every piece to be complete, but completing it needs discernment.
A foolish man goes with the flow of society; he clings to whatever the majority says. But a wise man does what he knows is right.
The foolish follow their heart to the ends of the Earth, blindly, and obediently. But the wise resist and change theirs' for the better, regardless the pain.
The hateful fear pain and death; their only care is themselves; they panic when they see their achievements crashing down on them. But the wise understand why they loose what they've worked for.
A fool bases his facts off opinion, but a wise man understands from observation and discernment.
The proud boast their thoughts as science, but the meek do not usurp their beliefs.
Those who reject correction do not wish to be wise. But the wise listen to the rebukes of all, even the wrongdoers; for those with discernment, foolishness never overcomes wisdom.
A fool goes to the ends of the Earth, chasing after a dream, calling it a search for understanding. But a wise man keeps knowledge and wisdom in his sights when he finds it.
