Devastation...

I've had my iPod for 50 days. A Month & a half. And it's gone.

I was in the store the other day...Shopko, I paused Way of the Master radio, to listen to my mom. I never turned it back on, I just didn't feel like it, plus I was talking with my mom. After we shopped, I got in the car, and rteached for my ipod, and realized it was gone! It was not in my purse, or pockets or anything. no sign of it. No where in the car. It was gone.

Somehow, I either dropped it or it was Pickpocketed. I'm really really sad. I miss it sooooo much already. I feel so ooo bad that my parent's spent $250.00 on me and now it's all gone. NO trace of it anywhere. We searched the whole store, left our Name, what we lost & number. It's gone.

sooooo sadddd.

It grieves me to see how bent our world is though. If I had dropped it, no doubt someone picked it up and kept it without a second thought, don't people have any shame?

I was in Dc this weekend, and when we went to Ben & Jerry's for ice cream, the lady behind the counter said that someone had just come in a few minutes ago, waited until her back was turned and took her cell phone and ran. It's really quite sad. :(

I know....it's worse when you've only had it for a little while, and someone spent TONS of money on you (And my family is really poor...we make less than 30,000 every year. waaaay less :()

It's sad how the world is. How can people ignore their conscience so much that they just don't even feel bad about anything any more?

I don't ignore my conscience! I feel bad about things! I mena, I feel sorry for my muffins, because first my mom stuck them in the freezer, then I stuck one in the microwave, and now I'm tearing off pieces with my fingers and sticking them in my mouth while it's forced to watch! How can I not feel bad?

Moving on, I don't know how you feel, but I almost took something I found on the ground at school *cough*Miru Nuva*cough*, but my stomach started cramping and I started sweating, so I put it in the Lost & Found. Yeah... I listen to my conscience, even if it communicates through pain...

Dalek, well it's a good thing some people do, but most people don't. Most people now-adays aren't honest about things like that, and it's sad. =(

I must admit, I have pretty much no conscience.

But when it comes to an iPod, I don't see how anyone could live with themselves for taking one.

I dunno how you wouldn't be able to feel or see it be pick pocketed though,

and you would definitely hear it if it dropped.

I hate those moments in life where you just want an undo button,

because you've just made a ridiculous mistake.

Like the other day I was washing the blender jar and I set it down to dry,

and the next thing I knew I saw it sliding towards the floor,

but I didn't stop it cause I was really out of it lately,

and then 50$ just smashed upon the floor and I realized what happened.

And I was planning not to set it down either >_<

But speaking of iPods,

I have one I don't need anymore and it's perfect condition.

*whistle*

(I really don't know why I keep randomly entering line break)

Andy, I believe everyone has a conscience, it's wether or not they listen to it/ have dulled it down.

Try being on both ends of the stick, Sunny.

I forgot my mp3 player on my school bus.

Never saw it again.

It was a stupid moment for me, actually. I have a bit of a history with mp3 players... like having it crushed by a school bus.

Back to the point.

I was in the bus, ready to go home. Wondering where the guys I talk to on the bus were.

They came running out the door of the school and into the bus. Once the bus left, they started laughing to themselves.

I asked what happened, he said he just got away with stealing an iPod.

I should've taken it. Snatched it out of his hands and bring it to the main office or something. I know what its like to get something expensive and loved stolen, and witnessing the criminals in the act makes one feel worse.

The iPod they stole broke in two weeks, pretty sure (no warranty, duh) he must have thrown it away.

If I could, I'd buy you a new mp3 player or iPod (unless Nickel Boi up there's fully willing to help). All I need is four, maybe five weeks.

And of course I'm not just saying this. Its something that would rid me of the thought that anyone has that happen to them.

Awww, AA that's really nice of you, but honestly, it's okay. I've gotten over it. I still think it's awful that it's gone and everything, but there's nothing I can do about it now except move on and save to get a new one. I already have about $90 towards a new one. I know exactly what I want, and it may take until the end of the year, but I should have one by then.
