School Starts Today

Yippey. At least what's rather very really cool is that I'm a member of New Tech High, a sort of school-within-a-school based on technology and a profesional environment. They're so focused on making it a businesslike setting, we don't need to ask our teacher for anything. Need to facilitate? Walk right out of class. Got some free time and want to chill with your friends in another NTH class? Go ahead.
We spent our entire day today in a group presentation project for how we think the rules should be. New Tech High works on a higher standard, and expects us to be more responsible as we gain a bulkload of priviliges over normal students. We're basically deciding for ourselves the dress code, regulations on music and cell phones and food, things like that. Remarkably, we all agree to no food or drinks, and we all agree to music being permissible unless the teacher deems it a problem. I'm rather excited to be a part of a just-beginning program that is soon to quickly catch on.
Yep. Going to be a very interesting school year.
