Fourty Five
Let's all rely on the common ground we hold
Before we all kill ourselves
Common fears, common loves, common hates
Common loss, common gains, common dates
I was just a balloon blew up too fast
I was just a balloon blew up too fast
Everyone was a one that I thought was the one I thought was
Yeah
Everyone was a one that I thought was the one I thought I was
Yeah
Pull the strings on the ballons floating in the air
One thousand red balloons popped this year from
Heat in the head blowing up the dead fear lodged in your brain oh mass terror
Let's all rely on the common ground we hold
Before we all kill ourselves
Common fears, common loves, common hates
Common loss, common gains, common dates
I was just a balloon blew up too fast
I was just a balloon blew up too fast
Everyone was a one that I thought was the one I thought was
Yeah
Everyone was a one that I thought was the one I thought I was
Yeah
Burning through the atmosphere as we tear each other down
Yeah
Burning through the atmosphere as we tear each other down
Yeah
And everyone identical, every one of them the same brain over
Life is a figure of death that you require in the aquisition of it
Hate is a figure of love that you require in the aquisition...
Pain belongs to those who want it and those who love it (ah ah)
Fear belongs to those who need it and those who hate it (ah ah)
Let's all rely on the common ground we hold
Before we all kill ourselves
Common fears, common loves, common hates
Common loss, common gains, common dates
Everyone was a one that I thought was the one I thought I was
Yeah
Everyone was a one that I thought was the one I thought I was
Yeah
Burning through the atmosphere as we tear each other down
Yeah
Burning through the atmosphere as we tear each other down
Yeah
As we pick out minute differences referencing the third and fourth laws of geometry
We recollect the fears we had as when we were the humans
Fourty five degrees too small to be a right angle to the ground
(fourty five degrees too small to be a right angle to the ground)
Let's all rely on the common ground we hold
Before we all kill ourselves
Common fears, common loves, common hates
Common loss, common gains, common dates
Everyone was a one that I thought was the one I thought I was
Yeah
Everyone was a one that I thought was the one I thought I was
Yeah
Burning through the atmosphere as we tear each other down
Yeah
Burning through the atmosphere as we tear each other down
Yeah
Sink into your plastic expanding in the heat I tell you my fears
All of them involving sharp objects near my neck as I reach to explode
And as we pick out minute differences referencing the third and fourth laws of geometry
e recollect the fears we had as when we were the humans I call faith
We stand fourty five degrees too short to be a right angle to the ground
(we stand fourty five degrees too short to be a right angle to the ground)
Let's all rely on the common ground we hold
Before we all kill ourselves
Common fears, common loves, common hates
Common loss, common gains, common dates
Everyone was a one that I thought was the one I thought I was
Yeah
Everyone was a one that I thought was the one I thought I was
Yeah
Burning through the atmosphere as we tear each other down
Yeah
Burning through the atmosphere as we tear each other down
Yeah
(we stand fourty five degrees too short to be a right angle to the ground)
Everyone was a one that I thought was the one I thought I was
(we stand fourty five degrees too short to be a right angle to the ground)
Everyone was a one that I thought was the one I thought I was
(we stand fourty five degrees too short to be a right angle to the ground)
Burning through the atmosphere as we tear each other down
(we stand fourty five degrees too short to be a right angle to the ground)
Burning through the atmosphere as we tear each other down
(we stand fourty five degrees too short to be a right angle to the ground)
The drum beat is essentially a rip off of "Rock is Dead" by Marilyn Manson
And the lyrics are written in a very Manson-esque tone...normally I prefer to rip off Trent Reznor or Maynard when I write.
