Anniversary
In Denmark, there's a town called Billund.
In Billund, there's a building called Tech House.
In Tech House, there's a room called the BIONICLE meeting room.
In the meeting room, there's a cardboard standee of Antroz, batteries long ago depleted.
On the cardboard standee there's a sign.
I put the sign there.
Seven years ago today, Rich, Jon and I launched BZPower. I really didn't know how far it would come; I was personally hoping for a million posts. We're now at five million, and 40,000 members. That day seven years ago also led, in its winding fashion, to my joining the BIONICLE team for a while. So I guess you could call BZP "life changing" for me, in a lot of ways. As it's changed other lives too.
Of course, a site by itself is nothing without people to contribute and visit and make it a community. So I think of BZP as the glue that binds people together by their interest in LEGO's BIONICLE products.
Happy Birthday BZP!
