So Preview Night is all said and done. Here's a collection of everything new were shown today-

ANIMATED

It seems Hasbro is saving the best for...laterish. But that didn't stop them from putting out some more "b-list" figures from the side lines "Activators" and "Bumper Battlers". New molds for the former and repaints for the latter. Of note, the silver Jazz bumper battler is labeled as the original on its display card. For some reason whenever we see this figure on display at a convention its silver, otherwise its molded in white. What the heck are you doing Hasbro? :P Me personally? I'm sold on Activators Thundercracker, Megatron and Grimlock, but none of the BB's, though I really hope we see the Nightwatch Prime scheme used again on one of the larger scale figures (I'll settle for an Activator of that too...keep it cheap). Sting Racer Bumblebee is a big disappointment, its barely even a repaint. Also, Hasbro display cards slate Animated Wave 4 Deluxes (Sentinel Prime, Swoop and Elite Guard Bumblebee) as coming out around August 1st, they barely give you a chance to catch up with these things...

Marvel Crossovers

Nothing new or exciting, just better pictures of two repaints we've known about for a couple months now. I might pick up Spidey someday if there's nothing else new to be looking for, but I'm content with my Green Hulk right now (which is -awesome-).

Star Wars Crossovers

Wow, this is a mess. Repackages of several old and older figures from the old SWTF line, a new mold (looks like a V-Wing fighter), and three repaints (more Jedi starfighter stuff and the Emperor). I'll be passing on most if not all of these, but that V-wing looks tempting.

Episode 2 Starfighter/Anakin Skywalker

Episode 3 Starfighter/Obi-Wan

Commander Cody/Turbo Tank repack

Boba Fett/Slave I and Luke Skywaler/Snowspeeder repacks

V-Wing Fighter/Clone Pilot

Republic Gunship Tigershark redeco/Clone Commander confirmed as a repack later in crossovers (see card)

Mighty Muggs

We knew these were coming after the listings leaked from the Target DCPI system. Prime looks surprisingly good IMO for having a round head, the back of his packaging reveals three more, and Soundwave looks AWESOME.

Back of packaging; confirmation of Megatron, Soundwave and Bumblebee

And that just about wraps it up for Day 1, I don't expect anything else new until about Day 4 after the Hasbro panel, but we'll see.
