Codename: Journeys
The spoiler tag isn't back up and functional yet, so here goes:
EPIC SPOILERS AHEAD: if you don't want to read spoilers for Tiki's Journey, DO NOT READ ON. If you're too curious to risk it anyway: enjoy the spoilers. (The spoilers aren't that major, but I know how it can take away enjoyment of a good story.)
That's right: Journeys. Plural.
I've been playing with the idea for a sequel to Tiki's Journey, which pretty much forces me to wrap this one up as soon as possible. I'll probably start on a new chapter today (after I finish reading Torhu's Te Mutunga, that is).
I'm definitely growing to like Sunari, both as a character and a concept. She'll return in the next chapter of TJ, in a modified and stronger form. If you've read chapter XXII: Thunderstruck, you know that also involves a few changes for Toa Yakunan himself. Here's what the new Sunari will look like:
I've already got some interesting information in the works regarding the Shadow and Yakunan's background story. What, you thought he didn't have one? Oh, be sure of it, he has.
It's hard not to give too much away for the sequel because I'm pretty excited about it, but I'll share you a few names and an upcoming character which I believe will turn out to be a reader favourite. Names of characters I've developed so far: Emem, Sycla, Sun and Sabaku. One I've only got a name for as of yet: Rashomon. My favourite character so far would be Wukong. If you've been reading my BioLog these past few days, you may find out who this character is based on:
It's all sounding pretty exciting to me, at least. Emem is definitely an interesting character personality-wise, and I'm already working on a background story to work Origin and a part of the official storyline into the mix.
