I am soooo busy getting my display ready for Brickfair. I have until sunday night to get everything done and packed up. I will have to get my entry done, as I will have minimal pieces in anchorage to use. All my mocs need teeny tweaks before I pack them up, and I am going to cram as many mocs as I can into these tubs. All the big ones for sure.... Some assembly required....... :P

I'm going to work in the violin shop for a week before the fest, so I will have some time to relax beforehand.

It'll be cool.... I am flying into Chicago on the 26th, and am meeting up with my friends who are housing me for the fest. Were going to start driving to Brickfair from the airport. I've never seen that side of the country, so it should be pretty cool! I'm really looking forward to it. :)

Maybe I can get my family to drive up from Allentown to attend the public expo! :D

Either way, I must get back to bustin it! :afro:

Took a little break from blogging, I see, hm :P ?

Anyways, are you coming to Brickcon as well? I am, and I would have gone to Brickfair, too, if it wasn't across the continent ;) .

Also, do you have to register online for Brickcon, or is that just for the Private Convention?

One more thing - do you know wether you have to be an AFOL for the Private Convention, or can anyone attend?

Letagi, if you are under the age of 18 you have to be accompanied by an adult to attend Brickcon for the entire convention. I look forward to seeing you at Brickcon! Bring some cool mocs, and be sure to register at www.brickcon.com Fill out your moc cards. I have a big table to fill, so don't be afraid to bring some really cool stuff! :)

and Bunda, I figured my luggage will cost me a grand total of $60 all trips. So dont feel bad about spending $15-$20 for shipping a moc all the way from Hawaii. :P I'm looking forward to seeing your completed entry!

...we strongly discourage people under the age of 14 from attending. Most of the activities we schedule are directed toward adults and usually require attention spans longer than most younger children exhibit.

HA! (I'm 13, and I seem to be a lot more mature than most other people my age.)

In the place on the registration page on the Bickcon site where it says "Attendance Type," "attendee" means Public AND Private Convention, right? Because I'm just attending the Public Convention, so I guess I would check off "public."

Also, the site is called "www.nwbrickcon.com" and not just "www.brickcon.com" isn't it? And how do you fill out the MOC card? I can't seem to find it on the site.

Hey, do you know wether Mak and Smeag are coming?

Questions, questions... :P I think that's all.

I know for a fact that Cajun will be there. Arpy said hes going to show up, and I know there will be others. I hope to see Kopakanui and his bro again with their awesome mocs! If Tufi can show up, I'd be thrilled! especially if Hahli Husky came again. BZPgalz all in one place! :) It will be awesomesauce!

I'm the theme coordinator this year, and I have a fairly large table, 5x16 to be exact. If overflow space is needed, I am sure I can get it. If you wish to attend, you have my recommendation. Brickcon Site Send an email to Wayne and let him know that you would like to attend. Bionicle is geared toward a younger age group, and you seem to be mature judging on how you post. :)

Hang with the BZ crowd and you wont be bored like that quote suggests! :) And if you need help with moc cards, catch me on my instant messenger,

Sorry about all these questions, but let me get this straight:

1. Sign up at the Brickcon website.

2. PM Cajun to let him know I will be attending (is PM okay, or just Email?).

3. PM you about the MOC Card.

Is that all?

No, not Cajun (that's Bryce), you want Wayne Hussey, the guy in charge of BrickCon. Though I'm not sure if you need to tell him you're underage or not. Also, you can even whip up your own MOC card. Just copypasta the NWBC logo into a Word Document, add the info, make sure it's down to about 3" x 6", and Print.

I'm the theme coordinator, not cajun... and I say please attend!

the person you need to talk to about attending the full convention (not just the public part) is Wayne Hussey at the Brickcon website (google it). by doing this, you are showing him that you are mature enough to attend with a parent for the full convention. he is one of the organizers, and tell him that the bionicle lady from Alaska, Roa McToa sent you! :)

I can walk you through the moc card part after you are registered.

Right, Cajun's Bryce, not Wayne.

I'll go register now.

Oh, and I'm going away for about a week - the MOC card may have to wait, since I won't have Internet.

I've shipped to a 97xxx ZIP code before. It's not cheap if you can't get into a flat-rate box.

I shipped it second day through the post office. Anything else would've taken too long, and second day really isn't second day... so yeah.

I included the $8, and that will probably be enough for a slower shipping method.

Okay, I'm back.

Do you even have to pre-register for the Public Exhibition? My dad says he only wants to spent two or three days in Seattle at the most.
