I really hope this is more than a publicity stunt. The discoverers have already kind of tarnished the authenticity of the thing by making those fake videos, but that isn't proof that it's a hoax. If it really is real, I'd be so excited. If they want to get it proven, all they have to do is contact the right people and get the body examined by someone authentic and other than thmeselves. Right now they're being too shy about the whole thing. If your so keen on it being real, stop tantalizing us with unclear pictures and untrue videos!

Any ideas on when any real progress or examination could happen? I know there was a conference yesterday but it didn't seem to reveal a lot considering they only brought hair.

Things are looking grim, but there's still hope judging by the confidence they have and the fact of where it was found.

@ Schism: I'm going to wait until they cut it open today before believing either story.

@ Keerahk: I think that they're going to dissect it today, which should prove whether it's true or not. I'm starting to doubt more than believe when I saw that they're keeping the location a secret. For professional Bigfoot hunters, tthey don't seem to handle the press very well.
