There's nothing wrong with that. I'm sure many people have grown up with Curious George or some other character.

I grew up with Miss Frizzle and her class in 'The Magic School Bus'. Nothing wrong with that. I'd still watch the show if it was on, it was fantastic.

Yeah, I really think the people that do say people need to "Grow Up" had a deprived childhood.
