Adams' change in style between the third and fourth book and then between that and Mostly Harmless was a good thing for this series. However, if Colfer were to do this, he would have a far different style than those books.

It just doesn't seem like it'd work.

Colfer is just too serious and stuff. I expect that if he does somehow finish it, it will be incredibly dull.

In fact, I don't expect him to finish it.
