When I saw the entry title I was like: "Yeah, that's what the weather feels like around here. ;_;"

The Napoleon of Nougatine looks delish. And I'd love to see what their take on the rum cake is.

I always find it amusing when Dad gives a thumbs up or thumbs down to the restaurant after checking it out, requests audience with both the manager and chef, then after lecturing them, hands over his buisiness card with credentials written all over it. It so funny, cuz the buisinessmen could never know that the old man may be retired for over a decade, but he can still talk with extreme power over anything about restaurants. <sigh> I guess that's what happens when you have a masters degree in culinary arts and two decades as an executive chef and hotel manager for big companies. xD

In any case, I'm nowhere near New Orleans. ._. Sad...
