Ok, I've noticed this happeneing on a lot of message boards besides BZP, so I have to put this here it COT and not in GD.

 

Have you noticed how people spell "Weird" as "Wierd"?

 

It seems to be a minor mistake, but many people are spelling it like that nowadays, and it becomes irritating. It seems to have become another way to say the word "Weird"

 

Or I could be wrongly informed and "Weird" is actually spelled that way, but I looked it up and apparently, of all the three dictionaries I checked, none contained "Wierd."
