Having read the latest chapter of Snoop82's BZP-Metru Story, I was reminded of a couple of things from the past. First, Golden Krana's Rank Stories, which involved active members from BZP (although the killing wasn't as rapid as it was in Snoopy's) That, and I once had my own idea for a story.

Should I write one and steal all of Snoopy's limelight?

(Well, the answer's no, because college life leaves time for blogging but not story writing, but I'll go into details anyway)

So the basic idea of the story was going to involve some virus that disrupted BZP-Koro (Metru, Nui, whatever it was called at the time) and the only way to stop it is to go into some sort of virtual world that resembled Mata-Nui, find the virus there, and defeat it. I was going to have it star me and a few of my friends at the time (most of whom are no longer very active). I believe my choices were Apera Kineta, Maslego, and Beepo. As members, they'd all have different skills (art, BBC) but they'd all have personal flaws that they'd have to overcome in the story. Anyway, somehow they were selected to go after the virus (led by an over-zealous staff member who thought he was invincible... I forgot who I was planning to use, but it wasn't Omi, because I didn't know him too well at the time of thinking this up) And the members all take on personas of the Toa Mata, and then... well, have an adventure. My plans beyond that were having the staffie snuff it (or, you know, get injured so he couldn't continue on) and the rest of the members overcoming their flaws, working together, and defeating the virus.

It wouldn't have nearly the bloodshed that Snoopy's has, so I don't think I'll even bother.

This is another example of "Story Ideas I Once Thought Up But Ultimately Ditched." I have a few more I could share too.
