Blank Mind
School's a pain. A seriously bad pain. The assignments are piling up, my final year project is due in 3 weeks and I still have nothing. My inspiration has dried, and I feel the loom of a comatose ready to swell over.
BUT - life isn't all that bad. I've finally taken an order in my non-existent order by using the 'Getting Things Done' system - and it's been working wonders. I'm actually getting things done!
I also had fun during the holidays I had. I went on a 3-day outing with my boyfriend and a friend of ours at Malaysia, and I had a good and relaxing time in the mountains. My school sent me as one of a few representatives to take part in a forum for all schools - and I ended up playing 'Lids' on a trashcan with friends to an audience, along with a samba rhythm. It was seriously fun, especially when the audience roared during our samba piece.
When school started, I felt very sour. But I lightened up when I did a techno remix as an assignment. Who doesn't like techno/dance anyway? Anyone who loved Caramelldansen proves my case. I did a good job on it, and I feel very good about it. I wonder if I can implement this into my final year project, doing a techno remix or making my own techno song. If it becomes viral - like Caramelldansen - things will get interesting.
Recently, my friends and I picked up a video camera and started video-ing for fun. We started a videography club, but never took the cameras and ran like sugar-high people through the school. We made that up that evening, playing in a dark corridor. When the camera turned my way, I squeaked (Serious!) and ran pell-mell down the corridor into the darkness. We got the perfect Cameraman-is-running-in-Cloverfield look, right into the dark, until I finally opened the door and ran into 'safety'. The clip worked perfectly.
I even managed to do my own rendition of Ninja Cat playing Red Light Green Light. Our club's thinking of taking that session out of fun, and doing something artsy with it. I had lots of fun - I ran a lot.
So, here I am again. I finally updated the Epic Critics Club list. I'm doing a bad job at running it, am I not?
