A Brief Announcement And A Request

We apologize for the pointlessness and poor quality of the last entry. It's writer has been fired, cloned with slight alterations, and replaced by sed clone.

As for the request, I know some of the readers of this are artists. Any artist readers, I need art tips. ;_; If you have any, please leave them in the comments section. Big thanks to any who do. =)

PRACTICE LIKE, ALL THE TIME.

Also: draw what you see. All the time. If you see it, draw it. And then draw it again. Or draw something else. Also, get some books on anatomy for artists (since anatomy for doctors isn't that useful for artists lots of the time) if you want to draw better people.

You can probably get more specific than that from people who are less tired than I.

Like Krahka said-

Whether it's tracing or free-hand,

copy other people's work. All the time. Can't draw something? Look for an image with it and trace/work off of it. If all goes well you'll then be able to draw it again without reference and at different angles and such. And always ask yourself: "about how far?" How large is the space between this line and that? How high above the nose is the eye? etc.

Draw something you're more familiar to than anything.

Weirdly enough, when I try drawing people, I end up making only self portraits (the two times I've tried).
