Once again I'd like to welcome everyone, now straight to more business.

 

 

The fifth article proposed by Toa_Ausar is as follows:

Toa_Ausar hereby proposes that the following rough sketch be adopted as the preliminary map of "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe", however in the interest of full disclosure it should be noted that at this time Toa_Ausar is also planning to add the Dome of Mora Nui and the Dome of Navas Nui, just as soon as their respective creators tell him where they are located.

 

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

 

All in favor vote "AYE".

 

All opposed vote "NAY".

 

The sixth article proposed by Em-Oh-Cee-Ehr is as follows:

Em-Oh-Cee-Ehr hereby proposes that we move "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe" into its own alternate, parallel dimension. There the members of "The C.I.R.C.L.E." can then create their own version of the past and future by deciding as a group what events either did or did not take place from the Canon Storyline, etc.

 

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All opposed vote "NAY".

 

And with that said, I open this thread up for discussion on the various articles for the proposed enhancement of this joint storyline.

 

Please be sure to vote on both articles in this thread.

 

Also, note that this discussion and the corresponding voting will end at 1200 PDT (Noon in the Pacific Time Zone) on Monday December 22nd, 2008 provided that at least 3/4 of C.I.R.C.L.E. members have voted at that point.

 

Lastly, all verified members will be notified of the results via PM as well as when there are other blog threads where authors can vote on the proposals surrounding the formation of C.I.R.C.L.E. and what that entails.

UPDATE: Article 5 has passed via "UNANIMOUS DECISION", meanwhile

Article 6 has been defeated with a total of "FIVE NAY VOTES TO FOUR AYE VOTES"

and the polls are now closed.

I vote "AYE" on Article 5.

 

And I vote "NAY" on Article 6.

 

The reason I'm opposed to Article 6 is tri-fold.

  1. I basically like everything that has happened in the Canon Storyline.
  2. There is nothing in my Epic that does not fit with the Canon Storyline.
  3. I don't see the need for my story to be in an alternate dimension.

Aye on Article 5, definately. That map is great, Ausar, plus it leaves lots of empty spaces for new domes and the like. (By the way, thanks for adding Kaiva Nui, Kora Nui, and Shakaz for me. :) )

 

Second, I vote nay on Article 6, since while I don't like the events of the real storyline dealing with the end of 2008 in B L #11, I believe that everything will resolve in the end, Mata Nui will get his body back and defeat Makuta, and all will be well and happy. That agrees with my storyline too. Really, making it in an alternate dimension just shows close mindedness -- fear to work with what we were given.

Aye to Article 5, but I cast a neutral vote to Article 6, simply because my story does not change any canon info. In fact, I had Krakua living on the Tren Krom Peninsula before BiA even included him! :D

Aye for the first stated article, and the same for the second. Although I think we all like this canon storyline, I also believe there are aspects we would all change.

sorry about his but i thought about it and decided to change my mind concerning Article 6 as my epic will not impact the canon story, even with the shadows of the sword and all that.

I therefore vote NAY on article 6, ill edit my earlier post so there no confusion
