Why's everyone putting up the Christmas entries on the 24th? Sure it's Christmas eve, but, with what little I know of the bible, Jesus isn't born yet 2008 years prior, why are you celebrating your holiday early?

Because often people don't intend to be on the computer during Dececmberween proper--usually they end up on the computer anyhow, but they don't intend to!
