I don't know if this is recent or not, but there seems to be a lot of musicians who record in their bathrooms, saying they have good acoustics. I wonder for how many musicians this is really true for, and how many play there just because a famous musician was known to record in their bathroom before beginning studio work.

Or is there a scientific explanation saying that all bathrooms in general will have the best acoustics in the house?
