Our Science Olympiad team placed 5th at the regionals, which means we advance to States!

For the two events I participated in, I got second for one and sixth for another. Surprisingly, the second place was for Remote Sensing, which I know like nothing about. I credit my partner with that second place. He did the conceptual questions since he actually knew the material, I took the math parts of the test off his hands.

While we got sixth, out of twenty teams that's not bad, and science pictionary was still loads of fun. We really should have gotten mitosis, though (I shouted out "meiosis!" but it sort of got lost in the stream of guesses). Ah well.

So yeah, I'm gonna have to actually work now for the state level competition!
